Wage:

$26.00 per hour for 35 – 44 hours per week

Education: Secondary school graduation certificate

 

Experience: 1 to 2 years

Job Duties:

• Prepare purchase requisition to buy merchandise for resale by our showroom or wholesale buyers.
• Comply with company’s Common Procurement Processes and Timelines
• Ensure the supplier has met the technical requirements of CSA for all electrical products to be purchased.
• Consult with management to get pricing from vendors for the company’s tendering process.
• Prepare a competitive response to a request for proposals to include factors such as corporate suitability, technical capability, approach to the work, qualifications and experience of critical resources or fulfil other criteria depending on the nature of the procurement.
• Understand cultural and language barriers when dealing with overseas vendors
• Ensure we supply mandatory documents for a Canadian customs broker entry
• Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, and distributors to negotiate prices, quantities, and timescales
• Directing all transportation activities for the shipment and receiving goods.
• Identify, interview, select distributors and contract execution
• Analyze sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock
• Develop eventuality supply strategies, identify risks, potential liabilities, and forecast tolerance to ensure the timely supply.
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints
• Organize and improve the business presentation according to the market demand
• Arrange warehouse handling and catalogue goods
• Prepare accurate reports for upper management
