Job Duties:
- Establishing new records management systems
- Developing, maintaining, verifying and evaluating existing systems
- Overseeing the switch from paper to electronic record-keeping
- Dealing with enquiries and requests for information from both internal and external clients
- Ensuring that financial, legal or administrative requirements and regulations are complied with
- Ensuring that data is protected
- Classifying and indexing records
- Ensuring that records are easily accessible when needed
- Providing training to staff who require access or have responsibility for maintaining records.
- Set policies and procedures for training, coaching, counseling, and career development for staff.
- Manage goals, deadlines, and projects for the company.
- Monitor and procure needed supplies for office, reception, mailroom, and kitchen.
- Maintain financial staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Promote and demonstrate good work ethic and team leadership qualities.
- Planning, scheduling, and promoting office events, including meetings, conferences, interviews, orientations, and training sessions.
- Achieve specific financial objectives by communicating with owner and making adjustments to workflow as necessary.
- Implement customer service standards and evaluate employees based on their ability to meet those standards.
- Supervising day-to-day operations of the financial department and staff members.
