Auto Imports is a family owned and operated in South Edmonton auto repair shop since 1958. We pride ourselves on providing prompt, professional automotive repair, and maintenance service, with accurate estimates for both price and repair time. We are looking for two (2) Service Advisers who can start immediately.

Wage:

$29.00 per hour for 35 to 44 hours per week

Job Duties:

• Greet customers as they arrive at the shop, listening to their concerns, and understanding their vehicles issues or service requirements.
• Consulting with customers to gather relevant information about their vehicle’s performance, identifying any problems or symptoms they have noticed, and documenting their concerns accurately.
• Conducting a preliminary inspection for the customers vehicle to identify issues or determine the necessary maintenance and repairs.
• Providing customers with detailed cost estimates for the suggested services, including parts and labor costs, and explaining the breakdown of charges.
• Presenting additional services or maintenance plans that could benefit the customers vehicle, such as extending warranties, preventive maintenance packages or other value-added services.
• Coordinating with the customer and the service department to schedule appointments for the required services, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely completion of work.
• Keeping customers informed about the status of their vehicle throughout the repair process, including any delays or additional issues it may arise.
• Ordering necessary parts and ensuring they are available for the scheduled repairs, as well as handling any warranty claims, if applicable.
• Communicating all relevant details about the customers vehicle and its issues to the technician working on their repairs to ensure an accurate diagnosis and effective solution.
• Preparing and presenting the final invoice to the customer, explaining the work that was performed, and facilitating the payment process.

Experience:

Minimum of 7 months
