Auto Imports is a family owned and operated in South Edmonton auto repair shop since 1958. We pride ourselves on providing prompt, professional automotive repair, and maintenance service, with accurate estimates for both price and repair time. We are looking for one (1) Parts Technician who can start immediately.

Wage:

$29.00 per hour for 35 to 44 hours per week

Job Duties:

• Maintain and update the inventory of automotive parts, components, and accessories.
• Process order from customers, mechanics and other departments within the auto shop ensuring the right parts are requested.
• Identity and catalog automotive parts based on manufacturer codes, model numbers, and other specifications.
• Assist customers and mechanics in finding the right parts for their vehicles.
• Receive incoming shipments of parts and verify their accuracy and condition.
• Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of stocked parts to ensure they are in good working order and ready to use.
• Accurately record all parts transactions and relevant information into the auto shops computer system or inventory management software.
• Provide price quotes to customers and mechanics for specific parts and services needed.
• Work closely with mechanics and technicians to ensure they have the necessary parts for their repairs or maintenance jobs.
• Display parts of shelves or showroom floors in an attractive manner to enhance sales and customer experience.
• Assist with warranty claims and product recalls for defective parts.
