Job duties:
• Prepare financial records, and maintain, and balance business accounts using bookkeeping software.
• Complete and submit tax-related documents, remittances, Workers’ Compensation, and other government forms.
• Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, maintain general ledgers, and prepare financial statements.
• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, utilities, and other business-related expenses.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
• Assist with year-end audit work as required
• Timely respond to requests from team members, operations, and management.
• Perform other related duties as required.
Wages: $27.50/hr.
Hours of Work – 30-40 hrs./week
Overtime will start after 40 hours

Job Requirements:
• Completion of Secondary School is required
• Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field or courses in accounting of bookkeeping or several years of experience as a financial or
accounting clerk are required.
• Must be organized, reliable, and has keen attention to details
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work as a team.
• Capacity to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards and effective time management
• Adapt to a fast-paced continuous learning environment and show a willingness to take on additional related responsibility where required.
