We are hiring for the position of Bookkeeper
This is a full-time, permanent position.
Job Duties:
- Manage all accounts receivable, prepare invoices, track payments.
- Manage all accounts payable, such as rent, utilities, supplies, fuel, repair and maintenance for machinery, equipment, insurance, etc.
- Prepare accurate project budgets.
- Prepare report such as job costs, cash flow analysis, accurate gross profit, etc to assist employer in increasing profit.
- Prepare account reconciliations, month-end financial reports and detailed financial forecasts and analysis.
- Handle payroll administration.
- Make payments to CRA for Payroll remittance, GST, etc
- Assist employer in additional duties related to bookkeeping as requested.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in English language is required
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field
OR Completion of two years (first level) of a recognized professional accounting program (e.g., Chartered Accounting, Certified General Accounting)
OR 1 – 2 years of related experience is required.
Wage: $25.00 per hour
Work Locations: Unit 201- 12677 80 Avenue, Surrey BC V3W 3A6
Benefits: 4 percent vacation pay
