Punjab Chaat House offers East Indian Cuisine and an exclusive shop for Chaat pappri lovers. We need two (2) Bakers who can start as soon as possible. We are in Edmonton, Alberta.

Wage: $16.00 per hour for 35 to 44 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Permanent; Full-time

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Languages: English

Education: Secondary school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 – 2 years

Job Duties:

• Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters of muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frosting according to recipes or special customer order
• Measure and combine ingredients using mixers, blenders, heat sources and other equipment to make bake goods, such as cookies, bread, cakes, etc
• Decorating and displaying finish product
• Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
• Keeping records like inventory and production levels
• Clean and re-stock workstations and ensure that all equipment is sanitized
• Requisition or order materials, equipments, and supplies
