Auto Imports is a family owned and operated in South Edmonton auto repair shop since 1956. We pride ourselves on providing prompt, professional automotive repair, and maintenance service, with accurate estimates for both price and repair time. We are looking for two (2) Autobody Technicians who can start immediately. This is a regulated occupation so only those applicants with required credentials to work in the Automotive Service Technician trade in Alberta will be considered.

Wage:

$25.00 per hour for 35 to 44 hours per week

Job Duties:

Review damage report and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed; Clean and maintain work space; Replace front end components, body components, doors and framce and underbody components; Hammer out dents, buckles and defects using block and hammers; Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place; Apply primers and repaint surfaces; Repair or replace interior vehicles and test drive vehicles for proper handling; Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams; Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment.
