Responsibilities
Tasks
- Create three-dimensional (3-D) models with computer-aided design (CAD)
- Create two-dimensional (2-D) drawings with computer-aided design (CAD)
- Analyze technical documents and reports
- Assist in supervising construction projects
- Prepare working drawings
- Write specifications
- Monitor and inspect work
- Estimate costs and materials
- Construct architectural and display models
- Assist in design development
- Prepare presentation graphics and drawings
- Process application for land development permits
- Connect, disconnect and relocate cable outlets
- Coordinate community outreach campaigns as required for Land Use Redesignation (and other permits as required);
- Manage utility disconnections and asbestos abatement for demolition preparation;
- Apply and coordinate Demolition Permits;
- Draft and submit Public Tree Protection Plans;
- Apply and coordinate public tree removal applications;
- Work with Enmax on servicing plans for Multi-residential projects;
- Prepare Development and Building Permit submission documentation;
- Provide input on conceptualization of site plan and building design;
- Filing and organizing digital documentation;
- Handling payment for permits and more;
- Offer insights on improving the efficiency of planning processes and related documents;
- Work closely with structural engineer, architects, fire protection, and other consultants to execute the project’s scope of work;
- Draft required auxiliary documentation for projects, such as on-site modifications, custom finishings, etc.;
- Draft development and construction plans for semi-detached dwellings and small-scale multi-residential projects (4-plexes);
- Work closely with Associate Manager & Project Manager to ensure synchronization and accuracy of working plans and work on-site.
