Education: Bachelor’s degree

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses:
Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC), Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification Examination, Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities

Specialization in clinical medicine: Cardiology

Tasks
• Diagnose and treat cardiac diseases and disorders, Order laboratory tests, Echocardiography, ECG.
• Prescribe medication and treatment and refer patients for surgery.
• Stress Test and other diagnostic procedures, Read and analyze patient reports, Prescribe medication and treatment, Study the nature, cause and development of diseases and the structural and functional changes caused by diseases.
• Determine appropriate surgical procedures.
• Act as consultants to other physicians, Dictate patient letters in a timely manner,
• Reports to Medical Director.
