Black Pearl Seafood Bar is a vibrant maritime-themed eatery offering raw oysters, a range of classic seafood dishes and cocktails. We need one (1) Cook who can start as soon as possible. Preference will be given to cooks who have experience in Seafood cuisine, but this is not a job requirement. Training will be provided to cooks who want to learn this type of cuisine.
Wage: $16.00 per hour for 35 to 44 hours per week
Terms of Employment: Permanent; Full-Time

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Languages: English
Education: Secondary school certificate
Experience: 1 – 2 years in the food service industry
Job Duties:
- Prepare and cook seafood cuisine for buffet and individual dishes
- Prepare and cook special meals for patrons as required
- Maintain inventory and records of food (perishable and non-perishable), supplies and equipment
- Oversee kitchen operations
- Plan menus, determine the size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
- Specialize in preparing and cooking seafood cuisine or special dishes
- Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers
