We are looking for two (2) Daycare Workers who can start as soon as possible.

Wages:

$18.00 per hour for 35 to 44 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Permanent; Full-Time

Employment Conditions: Early Morning; Morning, Day

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Languages: English

Education: Secondary school graduation certificate

Certification:

Childcare certification preferred but it is not a job requirement.

Experience: No experience required

Work Setting:

Childcare centre

Job Duties:

• Bathe, diaper and feed infants and toddlers
• Support early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
• Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
• Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
• Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
• Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings.
