Job Duties
– Support early childhood educators in the implementation of programmes that foster children’s physical, cognitive , emotional and social growth.
– Engage children in activities through storytelling, song teaching and craft preparation.
– Prepare snacks for lunch and rest periods, and arrange rooms or furniture.
– Send written suggestions to early childhood educators or superiors about infants.
– Discuss improvement and children’s issues at staff meetings.
Work Setting: Child care center
Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.): Child development assistant (ECE level 1)
Other Information: Candidate must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
