Floor Covering Installer (NOC 7295)

Salary: $28.50 / hour

Job Requirements:

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 3 year to less than 5 years

Work Setting: Various locations

Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Gloves

Tasks:
Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered, Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding, Measure, cut and install carpeting on floors, Measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings, Prepare and install hardwood floors, Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings.

Handling heavy loads; Physically demanding
