Denny’s located at 1759 West Broadway, Vancouver, BC, is currently recruiting for the position of Service Supervisor Front of House.This is a permanent, full time job which includes a variety of shifts, day shift, afternoon and late night shifts and includes weekends for a 40 hour week.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Supervise Server staff including Host/Hostess and Service Assistant (clean-up) staff
• Supervise and Co-ordinate Service Assistant Staff with Dishwashing and Kitchen
Cleaning
• Monitor and supervise food service, quality and food safe standards
• Monitor and enforce work safe standards in the Front of House.
• Fast-paces environment and work under pressure.
• Training and development of staff – job training, work safety, and hazardous materials.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have 2 – 3 years of Experience, Grade 12 education or GED
• Excellent communication skills in English – reading, writing and spoken.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate problem solving, decision making, and leadership
• Ability to supervise 16 to 20 employees.
COMPENSATION/BENEFITS:
Wages: $15.20-$17.20 per hour for 40 hour per week (dependent upon qualifications and experience.
