We are hiring 10 General Farm Workers (NOC 8431) on the basis of Full time, Permanent job position as soon as possible. Wage rate is $14.60 per hour. The working hours are 40 hours per week.

Types of crops: Strawberries, Boysenberries, Blackberries, Blueberries, Raspberries, Loganberries, Kale, Beets, Tayberries, Leeks, Garlic, Pumpkin, Squash, etc.

Job Duties:
– Pick fruits and vegetables efficiently.
– Plant, fertilize, cultivate, irrigate and harvest fruits and vegetables.
– Operate and maintain farm machinery equipment.
– Detect disease and health problems in crops.
– Examine produce for quality and prepare for market.
– Remove weeds from crops.
– Keep the working area clean.

Education: Not required

Experience: Not required. Training will be provided.

Language: No language requirements.

Work Site Environment: Outdoors, noisy, odours, wet/damp/rain, dusty, hot/cold.
