Partap Forest Products Ltd. located at 23372 River Road, Maple Ridge, BC V2W 1B6 urgently requires two Permanent & Full Time Heavy-duty Mechanic. We welcome and encourage Youth, New immigrants, and Aboriginal people to apply.
Duties:
• Check lumber mill equipment for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required.
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems, using hand and power tools.
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers’ specifications.
• Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment.
• Service attachments and working tools.
• Perform repair work on heavy trucks.

Minimum education: Completion of secondary school is required.
Minimum Experience: Minimum 3 years of related work experience is required.
Number of Positions: 2
Salary: $41.00/hour (Minimum 32 hrs/week).
