Little Birds Child Care Centres Ltd. is hiring an Infant & Toddler Daycare Worker.

Location: 14750 108th Avenue, Surrey, British Columbia V3R 1V8
Working hours: Full time 35 hours/week

Wage: $20.00 per hour
Employment Terms: Full-Time/Permanent
Position Start Date: As soon as possible

Position Requirement:
• Completion of college program in Early Childhood Education: Infant & Toddler is required.
• BC Early Childhood Educator: Infant & Toddler Certification is required.
• Criminal Record Check

Main Duties:
¬ Participates in lunch, diapering, bathroom and toilet training duties and promotes healthy and independent practice.
¬ Diaper and feed infants and toddlers.
¬ Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.
¬ Lead and supervise early educational activities in a classroom setting and outdoors: telling or reading stories, teaching songs, preparing crafts and taking children to local points of interest
¬ Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
¬ Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioural problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians or supervisor
¬ Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children
