Partap Forest Products Ltd. located at 23372 River Road, Maple Ridge, BC V2W 1B6 urgently requires two Permanent & Full Time Millwright Industrial – Welding. We welcome and encourage Youth, New immigrants, and Aboriginal people to apply.
Duties:
• Read blueprints, diagrams and welding process specifications to determine work procedures.
• Install, align, dismantle and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, conveyors, and generators according to layout plans using hand and power tools.
• Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery.
• Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.
• Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts.
• Operate machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery.
• Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery.
• Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), oxy-acetylene welding (OAW).

Minimum education: Completion of secondary school is required.
Minimum Experience: Minimum 3 years of related work experience is required.
