Lally Plumbing & Heating Ltd. is a reputable construction company specializing in plumbing and heating services. We are currently seeking skilled Plumbers to join our growing team.

Job Title: Plumber

Positions vacant: 3

Terms of employment: Full-time, permanent, occasional overtime is required

Wages: $37.00 per hour, 40 hours per week, overtime pay starts after 40 hours a week, 8 hours a day

Benefits: 4% vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period

Work Location: V5X 4K1, V5X 4V9, and various locations across the Lower Mainland, depending on the job project site.

Job type: residential, industrial and renovation construction job projects.

Start date: As soon as possible

Job requirements: • High School is required but 1-2 years of relevant work experience in this trade is required.

Description:

Job duties: Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems

Should know to repair, install, or maintain plumbing fixtures and system as needed.

Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors

Cut wood, concrete or drywall openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings

Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes using hand and power tools, or machines as needed in the job.

Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment

Must know how to check pipe leaks using water pressure and air gauges.
