Anu and Amber Enterprises Ltd dba Dairy Queen Chill & Grill is hiring for the position of Restaurant Manager.
Duties of Restaurant Manager
- To plan, organize and direct control and evaluate the operations of restaurant,
- Determine type of service to be offered and implement operational procedures,
- Hire staff and oversee staff training,
- Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance,
- Control inventory and monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices,
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed,
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies,
- Negotiate arrangements with clients,
- Coordinate with franchise for various promotional offers and corporation procedures,
- Participate in food and safety inspections.
Requirements
Completion of secondary school.
Minimum experience of 1 year or more as manager/supervisor in a restaurant is required.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Point of Sale System (POS) is an asset
Programs related to hospitality management would be an asset.
Terms
Hours of work: 30 hours to 40 hours per week.
Salary: $ 28.50 per hour
Vacation:4% gross salary
