Shan Construction needs three (3) Truck Drivers who can start immediately. As a truck driver, you will be required to haul construction equipment’s needed at every construction sites. We are in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Wage:
$29.00 per hour for 40 to 60 hours per week
In accordance with al Provincial and Federal standards, overtime will be paid after 10 hours per day / 50 hours per week when the truck is operated within Alberta.
Overtime will be paid after 10 hours per day / 60 hours per week when the truck crosses interprovincial boundaries

Job Duties:
- Responsible to transporting construction materials to and from various job sites which includes supplies used for roofing, siding, excavating, foundation, weeping tile, lumber and cribbing, plumbing, drywall and installation and flooring.
- Oversee safe loading and unloading of materials and equipment into the trucks. This involves proper securing of the load to prevent shifting during transportation.
- Perform inspection of their vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies which includes obeying traffic laws, using personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensuring the safety of others around the vehicle during loading and unloading.
- Maintain effective communication with their supervisor, dispatchers, and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules, report any issues, and update the status of deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of their driving hours, mileage and any incidents that occur during their trips.
